Last chance to oppose Kelburn windfarm

It’s your last chance to protect Clyde Muirshiel Park from irreversible industrialisation – that’s the message from objectors over plans for 19 wind turbines at the Kelburn Estate.

Despite North Ayrshire Council’s refusal to allow planning for the application, Renewable Energy Systems have appealed to the Scottish Government to reject their decision.

Now, following the recent public inquiry into the matter, final submissions will start within Kilbirnie’s Radio City on Monday 7th July at 10am.

The applicants are expected to make a last bid to carry out their plans for a wind farm, while the objectors, NAC, Fairlie Community Council, the Save Your Regional Park campaign and Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park will also have their say.
