Campaigners have received news that a planning application for wind turbines at Maer Hills has been delivered to Newcastle Borough Council.
The Save Maer Hills Action Group is fighting Claymoss Properties’ plans to build an eco-village with four wind turbines at Maer Hills.
A spokesman for the group said: “The application now has to be validated by the planning officer before the details become available to the public.”
