Plans to build a wind farm on the border of Teesside and North Yorkshire are to go on public display this week.
Broadview Energy wants to erect up to five turbines on land between the villages of Hilton and Seamer.
Protestors say the large turbines will be an eyesore, create noise pollution, harm wildlife and detrimentally affect house prices.
Images of how the wind farm will look are on display at locations across the area from Monday night.
Jeff Corrigan, director of Broadview Energy, said: “There are a lot of myths and rumours about the impact of wind farms and the best thing for people to do is come along and see for themselves.
“We have spent a lot of time looking at various sites around the area and this is a very good one.”
The company has said the site has many advantages, including sufficient land away from properties, good access from the main roads, and opportunities for farm diversification.
The displays are being held at Whinstone Primary School, Ingleby Barwick, on Monday from 1600 to 2000 BST; Stokesley Town Hall on Tuesday between the same times; Seamer Memorial Hall on Wednesday from 1100 to 1500 BST and Hilton Village Hall from 1600 to 2000 BST.
