Wind turbines will not be built on a hill near the former Slavkov (Austerlitz) battlefield since after three years of discussions the Kč 160 million project did not get planning permission. The two 100-meter wind turbines would not look nice at the historic site and moreover, the owners of the neighboring lots of land were against the project, the local planning office said.
