E.ON AG said it has won approval from the Danish Energy Board to build the offshore wind farm Rodsand II with a generating capacity of some 200 megawatts (MW) for an investment of 400 million euros.
The project is scheduled to be completed in 2010.
E.ON partially owns the wind park Rodsand I with a generating capacity of 160 MW.
The German utility plans to invest some 6 billion euros in renewable energy by 2010.
