The latest Defra report on greenhouse emissions says the continuing decrease in CO2 output “resulted from fuel switching from coal to natural gas for electricity generation, combined with lower fossil fuel consumption by households and industry”.
What of all those controversial wind farms which replace nuclear and dirty coal power stations, according to the “Greens”?
