Pardon me, but I can only deal with printed or spoken “nonsense” for a limited amount of realtime.
Your repeated promotions of “windspinners” – commonly referred to as “wind farms” – in Iowa has put me “over the edge,” so to speak. So when you repeated or implied that wind farms are getting us “off of foreign oil,” I sprang into the LTM (land line telephone mode).
I called Iowa’s major electricity producer and controller. I asked their rep, “How many gallons or barrels of foreign oil” I might be using in order to read my paper by lightbulb, make toast or warm my rear with an electric heating pad in this most frigid, and of course, “globally warmed” atmosphere.
Her response was succinct: “I can’t give you that information because of the ‘privacy laws.’ ” No, she wasn’t trying to be cute, just indignant.
I told her that I could answer my own question: “Zero gallons, or barrels of foreign oil” are used because Iowa has traditionally generated its electricity with coal, water or natural gas. She responded with, “Thank you for brightening my day” and promptly hung up. Her tone reeked of belligerence but I guess I expected such. So be it.
Anyhow, please continue promoting the propagation of these “ugly as sin” towering “pillars of scrap” all across Iowa’s horizontal viewshed. There’s not much of interest left to see, anyhow, and it will put a happy face on the blind “globalists,” moreso the foreign investors.
