Wind farm scheme with 12 turbines

Powys County Council has received an application for 12 wind turbines at land to the east of Cwm Llinau on Mynydd y Cemmaes, Llanbrynmair.

Acconia Energy UK Ltd is applying to Powys County Council for planning permission to construct 12 wind turbine towers (tower/hub height of 80m and max. blade tip height of 115m), access tracks, cable trenches, substation, anemometer mast, crane hardstandings, temporary construction compound and associated works.

The application is accompanied by an environmental statement.

Members of the public can inspect copies of the application, the plans, the environmental statement and other documents submitted with the application at Neuadd Maldwyn, Severn Road, Welshpool, between 8.45am and 4.45pm on Monday to Thursday and 8.45am and 4.15pm on Friday.
