Wind Farm pressure group BWAG has more than 100 members so far and formed branch support groups in Minting and Wispington.
Horncastle MP Sir Peter Tapsell has now pledged his support in the fight against wind farms in the area.
Group organiser Melvin Grosvenor said: “Sir Peter Tapsell has stated in writing he is ‘wholly opposed to the erection of wind turbines in my constituency’.
Mr Grosvenor added: “I am finding it difficult to believe we only had our first meeting less than three weeks ago, when BWAG was formed.
“If this industrialisation of our landscape goes ahead it will have a profound impact on the landscape for at least 30 miles.”
The group’s website address is www.bwag.co.uk
