Residents of Dearham are to hold a drop-in session next week about a proposed windfarm at the newly named Fleeter Wood site.
The name was changed from Town Head Farm as residents successfully argued that the name was factually incorrect.
At the meeting residents will be able to put their views forward about the new plans by Novera Energy for five turbines and not six as originally proposed.
Joyce Percival, parish council chairwoman, said: “Dearham parish council is opposed to the proposed windfarm. We are holding this session so that the residents of our parish know exactly what position we are in at the moment.
“There will be an opportunity to view the full planning application and see the impact which it will have on our village.
“The impact will be catastrophic and we need to act now. The forum will be open to everyone. We hope to see residents from other villages there. We need to stick together.”
It will be held at Dearham Village Hall next Friday betweem 10am and 6pm.
