Councillors are to reconsider a plan to construct a 20-turbine wind farm near Muir of Ord in Ross-shire.
The proposal by Scottish and Southern Energy was previously deferred.
This was to give Highland Council road experts time to assess the route to be taken by heavy vehicles going to and fromm the site.
Ross, Skye and Lochaber planning applications committee will take a fresh look at the proposal for an area in Fairburn Estate next Tuesday.
The proposed location covering about 1,235 acres on the slopes of Beinn an Rubha Riabhaidh is not one of the local authority’s preferred sites for a major wind farm development.
