Ratings agency Moody’s has warned it may downgrade Scottish & Southern Energy after its acquisition of wind-farm company Airtricity.
Moody’s said the deal was likely to weaken SSE’s financial profile due to its lack of cash flow and the investment required to develop its project pipeline.
