Householders in Gedney Hill and the surrounding area are being asked to comment on plans to build wind turbines near their homes.
Residents are being asked for their views on four schemes which could bring up to 19 turbines to the area.
These applications include severn turbines with a ground-to-blade tip height of 102m on land near Nutsgrove Farm, at Scolding Drove, six similar height turbines at Wryde Croft, south of West Drove, and two 100m turbines at French Farm, French Drove, in Thorney.
A further application has been submitted to Peterborough City Council for four turbines with a ground-to-blade tip height of 125m at the sewage treatment plant in Fengate, Peterborough.
Given the public interest in wind turbine issues, the council is likely to arrange a special planning committee to consider all four applications in late February or early March 2008.
The applications come at a time when the Government is keen to encourage the use of renewable power generation sources.
An announcement last week suggested that new planning rules will encourage councils and developers to consider things like solar panels, wind turbines or heat pumps.
The Ministry of Defence is liaising with all four applicants to resolve issues about the potential impact on radar signals.
