Novera Energy plc has submitted a planning application for the proposed Fleeter Wood wind farm south-east of Mayport in Cumbria, England.
The application is for five turbines with combined capacity of 10 MW.
The UK renewable energy provider expects to submit a further two applications soon, which by the end of 2007 will give the company combined wind power potential of 78-91 MW.
The new proposals are in line with Novera’s target of having 250 MW of onshore wind capacity in production by 2011.
