Paperwork delays turbine hearing

A hearing on plans for 21 wind turbines at Shebster, near Thurso, has been rescheduled for 15 January.

It had been due to take place on Tuesday, but representations lodged with the Scottish Government were copied to Highland Council.

If councillors object to Baillie Wind Farm Ltd’s proposal, the government is expected to hold a public inquiry.

Meanwhile, West Caithness Community Council is to seeking the views of local people on the proposal.
