Paying pro-turbine campaigners costs is proof of energy firms' subterfuge

How right you were to report in last week’s Journal that the people on the streets of Grantham canvassing support for the proposed wind farm were being paid as hired help by Infinergy.

I am quite sure if their costs were not being met then they wouldn’t have bothered to travel the many miles from wherever they live, as this is not their backyard.

This highlights further that the industrial wind energy business is nothing more than an exercise in raking in as much money as possible.

This only shows how deceptive these companies can be.
It is my guess that Infinergy will attempt to squeeze this ludicrous proposal through by submitting their plans in the next few weeks to coincide with the busy run up to Christmas.

If this were to be the case, I hope SKDC planners will see fit to extend this consultation period before the Vale of Belvoir is changed forever.
