The Enercon E82s will be 394 ft high.The base diameter will measure 15ft.
Each blade is 135 ft.
Each turbine will be even taller than Big Ben which stands 315ft.
Ecotricity say the turbines have a 10 megawatt capacity, providing enough power for 9,000 homes.
The firm claims the five turbine operation will save 29,752 tonnes of carbon dioxide being released into the atmosphere every year.
The turbines are expected to have a 30-year life span.
Critics say two-thirds of onshore wind farm applications are turned down.
