A controversial wind turbine in Nympsfield is up for debate by Stroud District Council’s development control committee on Tuesday, December 11.
Green electricity company ecotricity has applied to erect a temporary, 10-metre prototype on the same site as its existing 62-metre turbine in Tinkley Lane, Nympsfield.
But the parish council and Cotswold Protection Group campaigners feel the structure, which has already been installed, has an adverse visual impact on the area of outstanding natural beauty.
