During all of the public hearings for the recently approved windmills on Riverside County land near Desert Hot Springs that are currently being constructed, PPM Energy officials, the Riverside County Planning Department and the Riverside County Planning Commission all stated clearly and emphatically that none of the 360-foot tall windmills would be seen from the city of Desert Hot Springs.
Since this was obviously a fabrication, a misrepresentation or a gross miscalculation, how does Riverside County and PPM justify this? And how can this landowner, Riverside County and PPM Energy make these absurd claims, then do exactly what they said they wouldn’t do, without any inquiry from the media?
