Companies know things that others don't

I would like everyone to just think about this with an open mind.

Has anyone ever offered you money just for living where you do. Wind turbine companies are doing just that. Wind turbine companies are just loving the idea of 1,000 foot setbacks. With only 1,000 foot setbacks they can get many more turbines in. They also understand that there will be issues with the people’s health and welfare that they are willing to pay non-participating residents within one-third of a mile $500 for one turbine and $750 for two or more turbines. So I am proposing setbacks of one-half mile.

I feel that if they are willing to pay non-participating residents within one-third of a mile it is like admitting that there is going to be problems. So they are looking to pay non-participating residents off before problems begin. That is why I feel one-half mile setbacks would be more acceptable because the non-participating residents do not want the wind turbine’s money.

If you truly looked at this with an open mind you most likely can understand once in awhile we just have to go with our instinct or gut feelings because all the facts are not out yet. Just remember one thing-that nobody would offer you money for nothing unless they (the wind turbine company) knows something that you do not.
