Campaigners opposed to a new wind farm development in West Stirlingshire have warned it could have a “devastating impact” on the lives of locals.
The Endrick Valley Action Group (EVAC) are holding a public meeting in Balfron to fight the Npower Renewables plan.
The company wants to build nine 125m turbines at Ballindalloch Muir.
The plan is currently undergoing an environmental impact assessment to determine its effects on the surrounding area.
Npower Renewables said the development would have a 20-megawatt capacity, enough to meet the average annual electricity needs of up to 9,500 homes.
Those opposed to the plan claim its close proximity to the village would have a negative visual impact.
Professor Gordon Hayward from the Centre for Ultrasonic Engineering will be among those attending the public meeting to discuss the possible health implications caused by the noise from the turbines.
The public meeting will be held at Balfron High School at 1930 GMT on Wednesday.
Npower Renewables is due to submit a planning application to Stirling Council to build the wind farm before the end of the year.
