Skeptical on savings generated by wind
I hope skepticism is not warranted, but if Mr. Mihos’ wind turbines (“New fuel for Christy’s,” Nov. 24) can really save him $11,520 per year of electricity for an investment of less than $45,000, I would love to have some for my house and business. (A quick Web search indicates that $1,500 is the likely annual savings.)
Also, as the article states that the project will be completed “without the use of public funds,” I wonder whether Mr. Mihos will forgo the $15,000 rebate that is available to him from Massachusetts Technology Collaborative, the state’s economic development agency.
