The Leader of North Devon District Council has written to Minister for Energy Malcolm Wicks MP to protest about the decision to allow a wind farm to be built at Fullabrook.
In his letter, Councillor Mike Harrison says he believes the “landscape and people of North Devon have been sacrificed in the national interest.”
The turbines will be three times the height of the Civic Centre in Barnstaple.
The district is considering the Secretary of State’s decision to see whether it has grounds for a judicial review.
