Wind tour guide may be biased

I read with interest the article by Travis Morse on the Wind turbine “farm” in Cobb, Wisconsin. It was interesting to note that, as usual, the person interviewed was not an unbiased community member. This person, Carol Anderson, was a paid participant who has four turbines on her 600-acre property. Now who could possibly question her opinions?

I would also like to know if anyone can form an opinion on [the] noise when, as admitted in the article, only a few turbines were actually turning

There are lawsuits filed in our area because our Stephenson County Board has ignored the people who would be affected by these projects. These lawsuits were filed because our Board refuses to be responsive to their constituents and ignored its own Zoning Board’s decisions. Now they have ignored over 100 signatures on a petition to halt zoning changes regarding this issue. The person who examined these signatures stated they were illegible even though the addresses and phone numbers were right next to the signatures. The Board told the people they would have to take it to court. Would any of the Board members go along with that decision on those signatures if they were needed for their election?

This is life in Stephenson County when we have elected officials who are not looking out for you.
