A 70-metre mast to measure wind speed on top of Mynydd Penyfan does not imply that huge energy generating turbines will follow, says a report.
Newport-based Gamesa Energy Ltd is planning to put the temporary mast on the mountain.
The report states: “The proposed mast, while being 70m high is a slim structure located in an isolated countryside location.”
