A public exhibition to provide information on proposals to build four wind turbines at Bickham Moor is to be held in Rackenford on October 4 and 5.
The exhibition is being staged by Coronation Power and members of the company’s team and its consultants will be available to answer questions.
It will be held in the Rackenford Club, South Molton Road, Rackenford and will be open on both days from 10am-8pm.
“We believe the wind farm offers not only direct energy and environmental benefits for the area but also brings other advantages for the local community,” said Coronation Power’s managing director Vickram Mirchandani.
“The proposed site would produce 12 MW of electricity a year, the equivalent of the annual energy needs of 6,700 homes. That would add up to a saving of 27,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions compared to producing the same amount of electricity by burning fossil fuels.”
