Story County Committee To Consider Wind Farm Plan

Wind energy could be blowing into Story County.
Story Wind LLC, a subsidiary of Florida Power and Light Energy LLC, has proposed building 100 wind turbines in the Northeastern Story County as part of a $270 million project.
The Story County Planning and Zoning Committee is scheduled to consider the plan at a public hearing on Sept. 10.
