Wine will help fight wind

Wine and cheese is on offer in Pencader to raise money for the fight against wind farm developments in Carmarthenshire.

The evening will be held on Saturday at 7.30pm in Pencader Pavilion.

Entry costs £2, with proceeds going towards a fund for a judicial review of the decision by Carmarthen Council to allow 10 wind turbines at Blaengwen Farm, near Alltwalis.

The first glass of wine is free, and there will be a raffle on the night.

Blaengwen Action Group meets every Thursday at 7.30pm in the pavilion.

Call 01559 384 392 or 07918193109 for more details.
