Desecration of wilderness areas

The importance of wilderness areas and endangered species has become a matter of urgency for most of the civilised world. It has been accepted that, once these are destroyed, there may be no turning back the clock. In Scotland we have sites of world importance and the last wilderness areas in Europe. Caithness and Sutherland have unique vistas, habitats, species… the list goes on.

To desecrate these areas with wind farms is akin to destroying the Amazon rainforest to produce cheap beef for the UK.

The case for wind farms is based on false premise after false premise. All of the schemes are for profit only. The environmental impact assessments are impressive only in their bulk; there is little substance within. We need more wind farms… like a hole in the head!
