Don't ruin our village
We are two senior citizens – 81 and 83 – who were born in Glyncorrwg and have lived all our lives here (apart from my husband’s five-year active service during the 1939-45 war). We were brought up during a poverty-stricken era, both fathers dying as a result of working in the mines in the village. However, as hard as these times were for our family, as children we enjoyed the freedom of the practically vehicle-free roads and playing safely on the mountains.
