A campaign group has been set up by North-east wind farm protesters.
Formartine residents set up the group after farmer David Smith informed locals he was looking to put up seven turbines on his land at Skelmonae Farm between Methlick and Cairnorrie.
Angry householders set up SWAG (Skelmonae Wind Farm Action Group) in protest.
Nearly 100 people turned up for the first meeting of the organisation.
The group is concerned about noise, pollution and the impact on health and property prices that a wind farm in the area could potentially have.
Mr Smith, who lives in Auchnagatt, has not yet lodged any formal plans.
