Wind farm wins council approval

Plans for a new wind farm in the Welsh countryside have been approved by councillors.

The planning committee yesterday granted permission for 10 wind turbines on land next to Blaengwen Farm, Pencader. A previous application by the same developer, Catamount Cymru, was turned down by the committee last November.
