A Mount Gambier man is in hospital after suffering an electric shock at a wind farm in the state’s south-east.
Police say the contractor had been working on a turbine at the Lake Bonney Wind Farm near Tantanoola when he was injured.
A quick-thinking workmate activated a safety switch and performed CPR on the 27-year-old, before helping him back to ground level before ambulance crews arrived.
SafeWork SA will investigate the incident tomorrow.
