Windmill worker's leg severed

A windmill technician is suffering from serious injuries sustained during an accident at the gamesa wind farm in Cambria County [Pa.] yesterday. Authorities say a cable snapped while the man was working on a windmill about 270 feet up in the air. His leg was severed from the knee down. Rescue crews brought the man down from the windmill and transported him to conemaugh medical center. The man’s name is not being released.
