A council objection to a wind farm in the Galloway hills has been halted under special procedures.
Dumfries and Galloway Council’s planning committee had agreed to lodge its opposition with the Scottish Executive over the Blackcraig plan.
However, that has been blocked after 12 councillors signed a petition to have the decision reconsidered.
A date has yet to be decided for when the 23-turbine wind farm plans come before the council again.
