CI Energy will present selectmen with the final plans and financial details for proposed wind turbines on town land on Sconticut Neck. The plan must then undergo full review by town boards and their wind consultants.
Town Meeting also must approve leasing the town land before the project can proceed.
The company is proposing to erect two Vestas 1.65 megawatt wind turbines on land leased from town.
Energy produced would be sold to the grid and used to power the water treatment plant located on the property.
