Energy company still plans wind farm despite town opposition

A Chicago-based wind energy company says it will obey the wishes of the Town of Chatsworth and not construct wind turbines within one and a half miles of the town, but that doesn’t mean the wind farm project is off altogether. Officials with Invenergy Wind say they will still move ahead with a plan to construct the Livingston County windfarm. The proposed farm would start north of Forrest and Chatsworth and stretch to the south of Route 24.
