CAMPAIGNERS who fought off plans for a wind farm on Pennine moorland are bracing themselves for another battle.
German energy giant E.on-Powergen have appealed against the decision to turn down plans to build seven 100m tall turbines on Denshaw Moor, Saddleworth.
The appeal against the decision made by Oldham council in February was announced yesterday – 24 hours before the six-month legal deadline.
