Bruce County is ready to give its OK to a massive windfarm project in Kincardine and Saugeen Shores.
Enbridge has met the county’s demand for 121 metre setbacks between the 80-metre tall turbines and neighbouring property.
In turn the county has withdrawn its request for a bump up to a full environmental assessment.
The province has yet to rule on other objections to the massive project.
Meanwhile Bruce county wants province-wide standards on windfarms, so that residents and agencies can more easily assess the pros and cons of each development.
