[Wind]Farms could affect flights
BEDFORD - Wind turbines tentatively in the works for Brumbaugh Mountain could be directly in the flight path of the Bedford County Airport, officials said Tuesday.

Consultants from L. Robert Kimball and Associates reviewing the airport’s master plan said the turbines, which could stretch from St. Clairsville to Roaring Spring, might cause problems for the airport.
“We’re not saying they shouldn’t go in,” consultant Ron Deck told the Bedford County Airport Authority Citizens Group Tuesday. “We’re just saying they should be looked at.”
