Maple Ridge Wind Power Avian and Bat Fatality Study 2006 (draft)

This draft report of a brief period of counting corpses at the 120-turbine Maple Ridge wind energy facility on the Tug Hill plateau in western New York – performed by a firm that works for many wind companies – estimates the annual toll to have been between 3,103 and 6,011 birds and bats killed (p. 50).

Obtained by the Delaware-Otsego Audubon Society [1] by a Freedom of Information Act request to the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
