- Salaries at or above State average.
- Direct property tax benefits to state and county small relative to other energy resources or industries (depend on age of farm, etc).
- Amount of tax revenues low on an enterprise basis.
- Level of taxation high on a per job basis.
- Depreciation affects current tax assessments.
- May be present and future indirect impacts to property values and resource/environmental values.
- Difficult to value.
- Remediation costs.
