Taking the Green Energy Act to court for every resident of Ontario
Eric Gillespie, lawyer for the Ian Hanna legal challenge, speaking at Alvinston, Ontario, June 30, 2010. The Ian Hanna lawsuit charges that the 550 meter (~1,800 feet) minimum setback from homes established by Ontario violates the precautionary principle. In view of widespread reports of adverse health effects at that distance and more (up to 2 km or 1.25 mi), large-scale epidemiologic studies are required to determine appropriate setbacks.
