    Wind Farms Can Generate Angst

South Australians don’t want to live too close to industrial scale wind generators. We have more wind generation than any other State – in fact, we have one of the highest proportions in the world of wind power generation. This group has been formed in response to a 57 turbine wind “farm” planned for the area. We have formed The Eastern Mount Lofty Ranges Landscape Guardians whose primary task is to ensure that all those that will be affected by the Keyneton and Eden Valley wind “farm” will have the full picture of the personal and environmental consequences. . . .

You have the power. Save energy.

The following energy-saving suggestions come from the state government of Victoria, Australia. 1. Install or top up insulation in ceiling. 2. Switch off the second fridge. 3. Take shorter showers – keep them under 5 minutes instead of the 8-minute average. 4. Switch appliances off at the power point wherever possible. 5.
