Scores of residents have joined a campaign to stop wind turbines being put up in the Staffordshire countryside.
Residents are being asked to sign a petition which has been added to the Staffordshire County Council’s website.
The petition calls on the council to ‘protect the beautiful Staffordshire skyline and respect the wishes of local residents by saying no to wind turbines and encouraging other forms of renewable energy which do not blight the landscape’.
A total of 60 signatures have now been added to the petition so far. It will be available to sign until the start of next year.
