North Ridge Wind Farm appeared on the state Independent System Operator’s list for interconnection requests into the state power grid.
The request lists a 100-megawatt project to interconnect at National Grid’s Nicholville-Parishville substation.
Atlantic Wind LLC, a subsidiary of PPM Energy of Portland, Ore., is the developer of the project. PPM is part of Iberdrola Renewables Inc., a Spanish power company.
Iberdrola Communications Manager Paul N. Copleman said in an e-mail that the company is “evaluating met tower options in Parishville and Hopkinton” but has not yet applied for permits for a meteorological tower to measure wind speeds.
