Do something about wind farm

Credit:  www.trib.com 4 January 2010

An open letter to Gov. Dave Freudenthal:

I see that you are considering running for a third term. Do you think that you deserve to represent the people of Wyoming again?

Personally I don’t think so. I have written and called your office at least 20 times and spoken to your aide Temple Stevenson about our issues with the Chevron Wind Farm here in Natrona County. You know, the one where our county commissioners intentionally ignored their own regulations pertaining to setbacks.

I have been told repeatedly that the governor’s office could not do anything about county business, but after a little research it appears that in our state statutes there are provisions for the removal of county commissioners for violations of county regulations and their oath of office.

How pitiful is it that our lowly citizens have to do the work that our government should be doing to protect the rights of our citizens! Many of us here in Natrona County have had property rights and property values taken from us, because our state government won’t do its job! So you deserve another term? It’s time to prove it to us. It is us that you are polling, isn’t it?

Stand up for the voters. We didn’t get representation at the county level, so it’s your turn, fix this mess!
