Town Council approves zoning change
At the Town Council’s Monday night meeting the members voted to approve a zoning change at the Block Island Transfer Station to allow a wind turbine to be erected at that site. The vote was 3-2, with Second Warden Ray Torrey, Peter Baute and First Warden Kim Gaffett voting in favor, and Ken Lacoste and Dick Martin voting against.
