Debate on windfarm proposals
Controversial wind turbine plans will be debated at a public meeting in Birdsedge.
No planning permission has yet been submitted, but it is thought a company called ESH Group wants to put five 125m tall turbines on land between Birdsedge and High Flatts.
The plan comes three years after a ferocious campaign to block two wind turbines at nearby Pool Hill in Denby Dale was won.
Kirklees councillor Jim Dodds, said the meeting at 7pm on Monday November 9 at the Birdsedge Village Hall would feature speakers both for and against the plan, so that people could make up their own minds.
