Evidence blows away wind farms
In regard to George Will’s column of June 26 (Green energy: Riddle in an enigma?”), and the excellent sources he cites: Gabriel Calzada’s report on wind energy in Spain and Sen. Kit Bond’s “Yellow Light on Green Jobs.”
The euphoria that accompanied the initial interest in wind energy continues to wane as more and more “methodical economic reasoning” comes to light about wind energy.
How these reports continue to be ignored is astonishing and will become increasingly embarrassing if this country continues to follow instead of lead in the continuing search for reliable energy for our future.
The opposition to large-scale wind farming on practical grounds can no longer be referred to as unpatriotic, unreligious or uninformed.
